PhillBuilt designs and builds custom restaurant furniture in our shop in Rancho Cordova, California. We make banquettes, booths, dining and communal tables, benches, chairs, bar stools and host stands for restaurants, cafés, bars and hotels. Every piece is built in-house, mostly in solid white oak, walnut and cherry, and made to stand up to daily commercial use.

- Banquettes and booths: straight, curved and channel-tufted, with solid wood shells, upholstered seats and integrated base lighting

Restaurant furniture projects
Okesutora, Sacramento. Hand-turned white oak spindle-back chairs and benches with sculpted saddle seats, steam-curved crest rails and wedged through-tenons, built as a full production run in our shop.
Slow and Low, Elk Grove. An entire dining hall of white oak communal tables, benches and spindle-back wall benches, plus slat screens and a back bar.
Cantina Pedrigal. Curved dark-stained banquettes with cognac leather, ebonized dining tables and LED-lit banquette bases.
Little While, San Diego. Rounded white oak seating and tables, a curved bar front, pastry case and merchandise casework for a North Park café, fabricated in five weeks.
Selland's Market-Café. White oak banquettes with upholstered backs, café tables and pedestal bases.
Ella Dining Room & Bar. A white oak host stand with a gallery-rail top on painted turned legs.
Built for commercial use
Restaurant furniture takes more abuse than anything in a home. We build with real joinery, solid hardwood and durable finishes, and we size seating and tables to your floor plan so the room seats the way it should. Upholstery and metal work are coordinated through our shop, so you deal with one team.

Yes. Every piece is built to order in our shop, from a single host stand to a full room of banquettes, tables and chairs.
Can you match a designer's drawings?
Yes. We build from architect and designer drawings, or we can help work out details, materials and finishes with you.
What woods do you use for restaurant furniture?
Mostly solid white oak, walnut and cherry, plus veneers, with details in leather, brass and steel.
Do you deliver outside Sacramento?
Yes. We deliver and install throughout Northern California and the Bay Area, and we have delivered finished furniture to Southern California, including Little While in San Diego.
