PhillBuilt designs and builds custom restaurant chairs, benches and bar seating in our shop in Rancho Cordova, California. Seating is made to order in solid white oak, walnut and cherry with real joinery, so it holds up to daily commercial use and matches the rest of your room.

Seating projects
Okesutora, Sacramento. Hand-turned white oak spindle-back chairs and benches with sculpted saddle seats, steam-curved crest rails and wedged through-tenons, built as a full production run. Spindles were turned on the lathe and backrests bent-laminated in our shop.
Slow and Low, Elk Grove. White oak benches and spindle-back wall benches for an entire dining hall of communal tables.
Cantina Pedrigal, Folsom. Curved dark-stained banquettes with cognac leather upholstery and LED-lit bases.
Little While, San Diego. Rounded white oak seating and a curved banquette for a North Park café.
Built for commercial use
Restaurant chairs get leaned back on and dragged across floors every day. We build with joinery that resists racking, such as wedged through-tenons, and choose species and finishes for strength and easy cleaning. Seat heights are matched to your tables and bar: about 18 inches for dining, 24 to 26 inches for counters and about 30 inches for a 42-inch bar.
