PhillBuilt builds custom solid wood furniture for homes and businesses across San Francisco and the Bay Area: dining tables, benches, desks, consoles and seating, mostly in white oak, walnut and cherry. Every piece is made in our shop near Sacramento and delivered to the Bay Area.
A San Francisco dining table
For a home in San Francisco we built a solid oak dining table on a hand-polished stainless steel base, inspired by Dieter Rams and the warmth-meets-precision look of classic Braun design. It took about a year from first sketch to delivery.
Bay Area work
For the 1X Technologies headquarters in San Carlos we built more than 100 custom cherry cabinets and two walls of adjustable shelving, each about 65 feet long, around six 18-foot arched windows, in about four weeks from first call to install.
