Custom Millwork in Oakland & the East Bay
PhillBuilt builds custom millwork for Oakland, Berkeley and East Bay restaurants, offices and homes. The East Bay is the closest part of the Bay Area to our shop in Rancho Cordova, so it's straightforward for us to measure on site, deliver and install with our own crew.
What we build for East Bay clients
- Restaurants, bars and cafés: banquettes, booths, bar dies and back bars, host stands and dining tables
- Breweries, wineries and tasting rooms: bar tops, back bars, wine walls and communal tables
- Offices and studios: reception desks, shelving walls and kitchen casework
- Homes: built-in bookcases, window seats, home offices, kitchens and furniture in the Oakland and Berkeley hills, Piedmont, Lafayette, Orinda and Walnut Creek
Work we can point to
Our Northern California hospitality work includes the whole dining room at Slow and Low in Elk Grove, a dark-stained banquette and fluted bar package for Cantina Pedrigal, a wine wall and fluted bar at Holy Spirits, and white oak counters and seating at Franquette. In the Bay Area we built the cherry shelving walls at 1X Technologies in San Carlos.
How we work
- Talk through the project. Drawings, photos or a rough idea are all fine.
- Measure and detail. We confirm site dimensions and work out materials, finishes and joinery.
- Build in our shop. Everything is made in-house in Rancho Cordova.
- Deliver and install. Our crew installs, after hours when needed.
