Custom Millwork & Furniture in Sausalito, CA
PhillBuilt builds custom millwork and furniture for Sausalito homes, restaurants and waterfront businesses. Hillside houses, houseboats and Bridgeway storefronts all need pieces measured and built for the space, and that is what we do.
Trusted by Michelin-starred restaurants: we built custom furniture for The Kitchen and Localis, both starred in the 2026 MICHELIN Guide California. See our fine dining work.
For Sausalito homes
Sausalito homes come in every shape, from hillside houses with bay views to floating homes where every inch has to work. We build compact, efficient built-ins and furniture that fit tight and irregular spaces.
- Built-ins and shelving walls for living rooms, libraries and offices
- Media walls, window seats and benches
- Wall paneling, wainscoting and slat walls
- Custom dining tables, consoles and sideboards
For restaurants and businesses
Along Bridgeway and the waterfront, restaurants and shops depend on interiors that stand up to heavy traffic and salt air. We choose woods and finishes for durability.
- Bars, back bars and serving counters
- Banquettes, booths, restaurant tables and chairs
- Host stands, café counters and retail displays
- Office millwork and reception desks
Bay Area work
For the 1X Technologies headquarters in San Carlos we built more than 100 custom cherry cabinets and two 65-foot shelving walls around six 18-foot arched windows in about four weeks. For a San Francisco home we built a solid oak dining table on a hand-polished stainless steel base.
How it works
We review your plans or photos, measure on site, send shop drawings and finish samples for approval, build in our shop near Sacramento, and deliver to Sausalito. See how a custom millwork project works.
