PhillBuilt builds custom millwork and heirloom furniture for mountain homes around Lake Tahoe, Truckee, Martis Camp, Northstar, Incline Village and the West Shore. We build in our shop near Sacramento, about two hours from the lake, and deliver finished pieces up the hill.

Planning around the season

Mountain deliveries depend on weather and access. We schedule deliveries in good weather windows and coordinate with your builder or property manager.

How a project works

  1. Call or send a note with photos, drawings or a sketch.
  2. Measure and design. We measure on site and draw shop drawings for your approval.
  3. Build. Everything is made in our shop at 2530 Mercantile Dr, Suite L, Rancho Cordova.
  4. Deliver. We deliver finished pieces ready for your contractor or installer.

FAQ

Do you deliver to Truckee, Incline Village and South Lake Tahoe?

Yes. We deliver around the lake. Winter deliveries depend on road and site conditions.

Can you build furniture that handles dry mountain air?

Yes. We use construction that lets solid wood move with the seasons and finishes made for dry climates.

Do you install?

No. We fabricate, finish and deliver. Installation is done by your contractor or installer, and we coordinate with them and supply drawings.
