At Phill Built, we take great care in crafting high-quality custom furniture. This Shipping and Returns Policy outlines the terms related to the delivery and return of our products. By placing an order with us, you agree to these terms.

1. Shipping Policy

a. Order Processing

• Since our furniture is custom-built, lead times vary depending on the complexity of the project. Estimated completion times will be provided at the time of purchase.

• We will notify you when your order is ready for shipping or pickup.

b. Delivery Options

Local Delivery: For customers within the Sacramento area, we offer delivery services for an additional fee.

Freight Shipping: For orders outside our local delivery range, we can coordinate freight shipping. Shipping costs will be calculated based on weight, size, and destination.

Customer Pickup: If you prefer, you can pick up your order from our workshop by appointment.

c. Shipping Costs & Responsibilities

• Shipping costs will be detailed in your invoice and must be paid before the order is shipped.

• Phill Built is not responsible for shipping delays caused by freight carriers, weather conditions, or other unforeseen circumstances.

• Customers are responsible for inspecting deliveries upon arrival. If there is visible damage, it must be reported immediately to the carrier and to us within 48 hours.

2. Returns & Refunds Policy

a. Custom Orders (Non-Returnable)

• Since all our furniture is made to order, we do not accept returns or offer refunds on custom pieces unless there is a defect caused by our workmanship.

b. Damage or Defects

• If your order arrives with manufacturing defects, please contact us within 7 days of delivery with photos and a description of the issue.

• We will assess the claim and determine whether to repair, replace, or issue a partial refund at our discretion.

• Normal wear and tear, natural wood variations, and slight imperfections due to handmade craftsmanship do not qualify as defects.

c. Cancellations & Changes

• Because we begin work on custom projects promptly, cancellations must be made within 48 hours of placing your order to receive a full refund.

• Changes to your order after this period may result in additional charges or extended lead times.

3. Warranty

• We stand behind our craftsmanship and offer a [insert warranty period, e.g., one-year] limited warranty on structural integrity for our furniture.

• This warranty does not cover damage caused by improper use, exposure to extreme conditions, or unauthorized modifications.
